Bust of a Woman with Atzara’s Costume

The bust of woman with Atzara’s costume by Ceramiche Mola was created to highlight the fine modeling technique, leaving out the decorative chromatic part. The face of a young Atzara’s girl is framed by "sa tiagiola", a starched linen bandage folded in a triangle, which is placed on the head. The marble effect on the ceramic is obtained with a process that involves multiple processes with different techniques. On the high-neck chemise, embroidered and with thin folds, two buttons of gold stand out, creating the only note of colour that underlines the essentiality of clothing and technique.
