LENTISCHIO CAPRINO CHEESE - WHOLE FORM

"Lentischio" goat's cheese from Caseificio Murtas is produced with selected goat's milk coming exclusively from Gerrei breeding farms. It has a dark brown rid. The dough is white and compact, with a marked taste that grows together with the ageing. The name of the cheese is a tribute to the lentisk plant, particularly present on the Siliese pastures. Lentischio goat cheese won the first prize at the "Caprino d'Oro" 2008 competition held in Villagrande Strisaili.
