Ammacchiau Liqueur – 70 cl

Ammacchiau from the Antiche Distillerie Poscia is a Sardinian red myrtle liqueur. Mirtus communis is a native Sardinian shrub, typical of hilly areas with a temperate climate. Its fruit is harvested in December, January, and February. The berries are then cold-infused with spirits using rotary macerators. Garnet red in color, it has a bold, aromatic aroma of flowering Mediterranean woodland, and a smooth, aromatic flavor with a pleasantly bitter aftertaste. Excellent after a meal, during afternoon tea, at convivial gatherings, and for mixing.
