Myrtle Liqueur

The myrtle liqueur by Nettare di Sardegna is made by Costantino Crudu through infusion of red myrtle berries, hand-picked in the territory of Northern Sardinia. The berries of the small myrtle shrub, which owes its name to Latin word “myrtus”, meaning “fragrant essence”, are harvested in December and January, when they are perfect to give away the ancient liquorification process. Violet colour and intense aroma, the myrtle liqueur is a very appreciated Sardinian excellence. It is perfect when consumed very fresh at the end of the meal.
