Pre-Nuragiche ceramic set

The set of pre-Nuragic ceramics is made in the artisan workshop of the Villa Abbas Cooperative using the ancient “colombino” manufacturing technique. The dark brown color is obtained through oxidation-reduction firing and can vary from object to object. The artefacts are decorated with a “comb” and represent a reworking of a tripod vase and a bowl from the hypogeal necropolis of “Padru Jossu“ near Sanluri, and of a carinated bowl from the “Marinaru” locality near Sassari. They date back to the 3rd millennium BC (Bell Beaker culture, final Eneolithic). The originals are exhibited at the Civic Archaeological Museum “Villa Abbas” in Sardara. The original of the carinated bowl is exhibited at the National Museum “GA Sanna” in Sassari.
