Maria – Statuette of a Woman with Bono’s Costume

Maria, the statuette of a woman in Bono’s costume, is made by Ceramiche Mola to represent traditional clothes that remained substantially the same over time. What characterizes particularly the Bono’s costume is "sa taziola" made with “batista” linen: it has a rectangular shape and is embroidered with hemstitching. The jewels worn by Maria are: "sas aguzzas", or rather three pins that hold the bandage; "sa cadenitta”, a gold chain; golden buttons as chemise cufflinks, and the silver "corittu" cuffs.
