The Paddeu Winery was founded in 2008 in Mamoiada thanks to Giampaolo Paddeu, who planted with the system of cuttings about 8000 shoots of the Canonau vine, which has always been grown in the village. A system that perfectly respects the land, and maintains tradition, culture and identity. In just three years the new plantings already enter maximum production, with a quality comparable only to that of the old vineyards. At the same time Giampaolo adapts a part of his house to a winery and certifies it according to the law, and here he produces the dynamic wine, to which he gives the name Minneddu (diminutive of the name of his maternal grandfather, a farmer artisan and cooper). Minneddu at this time faces the world as an innovative wine: natural, traditional and artisanal.
