Ghénos is not a randomly chosen name, but it is one of the possible linguistic roots of Gonnosfanadiga, and in Greek it means “origin, lineage, birth, family.” For me, a young farmer, it is a story of returning to my origins, to the land and to Sardinian products of excellence, starting with the Extra Virgin Olive Oil that for four generations has been produced by my family in Gonnosfanadiga, South Sardinia, a town that has always been dedicated to olive growing. The transition to organic, which will be completed by 2025, is just one of our many and very first commitments. Ours is a product of extreme quality and balanced taste, ideal for many palates, in which the bitterness blends with the spiciness without covering the flavor of the dishes. It is also further embellished by a refined bottle: a double foil of hot gold and cast gold, recalling the luster of the oil and the elegance of Sardinian embroidery.
