The Villa Abbas Cooperative was founded in Sardara in southern Sardinia in 1986 and operates in the Cultural Heritage sector. Among the activities carried out, the production of ceramics assumes particular importance. In the artisanal workshop, artifacts are made that reproduce the finds preserved in the various archaeological museums of Sardinia, through workmanship performed entirely by hand using ancient techniques such as that called “a colombino.” The artisans' own reinterpretation makes the objects unique and unrepeatable, in line with the stylistic features of tradition, including ornamental motifs typical of pre-Nuragic, Nuragic, Roman and medieval culture. Villa Abbas has participated in numerous industry events including the International Restoration Exhibition in Ferrara.
